While browsing RPG Bloggers, I came by way of a post made by Stupid Ranger about creating new Paragon Paths or modifying existing ones. They were looking for a fire-based Paragon Path to fit a fire themed wizard they are playing. So, to take a shot at making my own path, I present draft one of the Flametouched.

Flametouched Mage Paragon Path
“The flames consume all they touch, raging onward, gaining strength. And I weild that strength as my own, manipulating the flame to serve my own purpose.”
Prerequisite: Wizard class
Fire is the source of your magic and you are its vessel, host to an all-consuming power that helps to fuel your arcane spells. For you alone the flames bend to your will, allowing you to accomplish feats of amazing sorcery. As a Flametouched, you contain the fires within allowing it’s essence to grant you the power you desire.
Flametouched Mage Path Features
Extra Damage Action (11th level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you also add one-half your level to the damage dealt by any of your standard action attacks this turn.
Flametouched (11th level): You gain Resist 5 Fire. You may spend an action point to gain +5 to this until the end of your next turn instead of an extra action.
Firey Torrent (16th level): When you first become bloodied in an encounter, you unleash a burst of arcane energy that deals 5 + your Intelligence modifier fire damage to all your enemies within 10 squares of you.

Flame’s Embrace Flametouched Mage Attack 11
You contain your enemies in a cage made from the fires within you.
Encounter * Arcane, Conjuration, Implement, Fire
Standard Action Area burst 2 within 20 squares
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Reflex
Hit: 4d6 + Intelligence modifier Fire damage.
Effect: You conjure a wall in the 16 outer squares of the burst (forming a square enclosure). Any creature that starts its turn adjacent to the wall or moves into a wall square takes 10 Fire damage. Moving into a wall square costs 1 extra square of movement. The wall does not grant cover or concealment. It lasts until the end of your next turn.
Smoke Screen Flametouched Mage Utility 12
With a wave of your hand, you create an area of thick smoke that creatures have difficulty passing through.
Daily * Arcane, Zone
Standard Action Area burst 2 within 20 squares
Effect: The burst creates a zone of thick smoke that lasts until the end of your next turn. Squares in the zone are difficult terrain and are lightly obscured. As a move action, you can move the zone up to 5 squares.
Sustain Minor: The zone persists.
Rain of Fire Flametouched Mage Attack 20
A torrent of fire washes over the battlefield igniting your foes and plunging the fields of battle into flames.
Daily * Arcane, Fire, Implement, Zone
Standard Action Area burst 2 within 20 squares
Target: Each enemy in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Fortitude
Hit: 3d8 + Intelligence modifier fire damage, and as a move action, you can move the zone up to 5 squares.
Sustain Minor: The zone persists.
Miss: Half damage, and the spell cannot be sustained as the fires sputter out.
